This morning, at nine o’clock, Cassandra Harwood, the assistant district
attorney, was expected to be out front of the courthouse with her boss,
District Attorney George Dennison, for a press conference with Mayor
Harold Preston. Just one more annoyance on the trail of what the press

It had been three months since the discovery of the first three bodies.
Since then there had been four more bodies found. The only similarity
between all of the couples was the fact that all the women were newly
pregnant. So newly pregnant that none of them had been to the doctor yet

One of the women was still missing, Linda Lareby. Her husband, Jared,
was one of the first three bodies found, that day in August, and the only one
found alone. Why was she not with her husband? Is there a chance she is
