David and Melissa Hill
Melissa Pehle-Hill  mp-07@hotmail.com  www.mphill.net
I am an American, a Christian, a wife, and a mother. I live with my husband David and our children out in the woods of East Texas between Athens and Palestine.

I am a survivor of domestic violence, and an advocate for more laws to protect not only battered wives but also for more laws to protect the weakest among us from predators, the children. I believe that my calling in life is to write, both for the entertainment of others in the form of my novels and to inform them of what they need to hear, the truth.

I am a home school mom who believes that is the best way my children will get the best education of not just the basics, but of good old-fashioned American values that meant something fifty years ago. This country was founded on principles written in the Bible but today’s kids are not being taught these principles. I believe these principles are the cornerstone of a good person and a requirement for a good American. I am active in politics but back only those I believe are good for the American people and the American way of life, not those who are more interested in special interest groups or holding office for the sake of holding office. The issues are what counts, and those issues are the ones that affect each and every American, regardless of gender, race, or beliefs.

Along with my full length books, I also write short articles which I submit to local newspapers and national blogs. Some have been published in the Athens Review.

I have three published books. Two novels “Final Betrayal” and “Desperate Betrayal” and my newest political book “America, Home of the Brave ~ At Least for Now” All three of them are available on my website www.mphill.net or from the publisher www.hillpehle.net

David A Hill  david@make-a-statement.org   www.hillpehle.net

To start with, my name is David Hill. I am a Christian, a Husband, a Father, an American, and a Texan. Oh, I am a pretty good cook too. If I were to sum myself up in one phrase, it would be “For God, Family, and Country”. I live with my wife Melissa and our children out in the woods of East Texas. I consider myself politically active and I don’t mind voicing my opinion. Yes, I am one of those people who contact my representatives from City Council to the President and tell them what I think. I think everybody should.

I started a small publishing company ( www.hillpehle.net ) in 2004 when Melissa wrote her first novel. Since then, I have published two more of Melissa’s books as well as six more books by different authors. I also handle all of Melissa’s PR work, advertising, website design, and I manage her presence on several blogs. I am the internet communications coordinator and webmaster for the Henderson County Republican Party. www.hendersoncogop.com All of this is balanced with my full time job selling restoration parts for classic muscle cars, being a husband, being a father, building our house, taking care of all the animals, and serving as sound engineer for our church.

I am currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Victory 08 Republican Rally East Texas PAC.
