Conservatives and Veterans Considered Extremists. by Melissa Pehle-Hill
I look at the title of this article and I wonder how far things have gone when our own Department of Homeland Security would issue a report to all law enforcement agencies calling conservatives and veterans "extremists" and threats to national security just because we disagree with her and Obama on the issues.
Since when did it become a crime to disagree with your President? It certainly wasn’t the case over the last 8 years or we wouldn’t have had to listen to the constant attacks on President Bush.
So, what makes Napolitano think that ostracizing such a large part of Americans is going to help this administration? Do you think their plan is to make it illegal to disagree with the usurper presently holding the office of the President? Something tells me that won’t work because they have obviously forgotten one thing the rest of us haven’t—the United States of America is a nation comprised of people who are willing to fight for freedom! And the best part is that in this case we can win the fight without firing a shot. All we have to do is exercise our right to vote and replace them—then we have won.
I have to say I was surprised by her report, though I feel I shouldn’t have been. I honestly thought there was nothing Obama and his band of thieves could surprise me with and it bothers me that I was wrong. I sincerely hope there is nothing else ahead that surprises me, or the rest of us, for we can’t afford this kind of thing being the norm.
After all, have you heard what, in her opinion, now comprises an extremist: She considers those of us who she perceives as being the sole attendants at the Tea Parties as being a threat to the very nation we were out there protesting to save. Where does that make sense? If you oppose the Obama administration, and her, on abortion, illegal immigration, high taxes, government bailouts, gun control or gay marriage then, according to the report she put out, you are now an extremist. Notice that I did say "OR" not "AND" because she didn’t either as she stressed the possibility of "single issue" extremists—I guess that was done in order to include Democrats who are tired of high taxes and don’t want socialism and the Independents who were there as well.
And for this she offers no apology, but rather wrote this in a statement released by her department, "Let me be very clear: We monitor the risks of violent extremism taking root here in the United States. We don't have the luxury of focusing our efforts on one group; we must protect the country from terrorism whether foreign or homegrown and regardless of the ideology that motivates its violence." She considered our Tea Parties a threat to this nation! Did she not catch on to the fact that we were singing patriotic songs and saying how much we love our country? I’m sure she is aware as, according to information I read on Newsmax.com, she sent the FBI out there to watch us and see who we are and what we are doing. Of course this from the woman who says that sneaking into our country illegally isn’t really a crime! And yes, she did do that during an interview on CNN.
They aren’t working this hard on dealing with any possible terror cells that might be in this country, heck she even had the audacity to call terror attacks such as 9-11 "man-made disasters"! Does that phrase explain what happened on 9-11? What is wrong with calling a spade a spade? Or does it offend our government to call a terrorist a terrorist while our president (or rather the usurper in that office) is overseas bowing to the same man the terrorists do—the Saudi King?
Whatever the reason one thing is crystal clear—the American people can do only one thing where it comes to Napolitano and her ilk—we need to call for her resignation, effective immediately—and all of her little friends need to be voted out of office at the first opportunity. We can start with her by joining the fight out there to get her fired—the American people deserve someone who is actually trying to protect them from real threats, not political disagreement. I wonder if maybe Obama can get her a job where she might fit in better—in Saudi Arabia or Iran maybe.
